Well, you missed a candid discussion between Phil Spencer and Shinji Mikami of Tangoworks where they talked about the future of game development although did not speak of the future game Tangoworks is developing...
(*Mikami is not the director of Ghostwire, but still kinda funny.)
There were also some trailers for a few minor games or games you've heard of getting new play conversations, and then even more games are coming to Games Pass. Oh, and Switch is basically the future of Monster Hunter, with PC drifting off of it but MHW is seemingly in the rearview.

With all due respect, Amazon metric is not like the best place to get numbers. I mean, Amazon metric was used many many times from TLOUS2 fans for numbers war, but is pretty much other history from sale guys like Matt, Benji Sales, etc...
Nintendo Switch numbers in Japan are out of anything current possible.

That does not mean anything. That is solely sold to scammers. Because without a bot you cannot buy it. And I know that many scammers sell them then to foreign countries, such as China. I know as a fact that China pays a lot of money in order to get PlayStation 5 or XBOX. We have here in Japan small shops where you can just go with PlayStation 5 or XBOX and they will buy it for from you for a higher price than retail and ship it then to China. So scammers here don't even have to find a buyer.

I ain't staying up for another night and I'm not expecting anybody else to mine the events for much here (we barely could talk much about Day 1, and Xbox had a keynote,) but for those interested or hoping to catch a surprise, here's a loose interpretation of the rundown of events for TGS 2021 Day 2 on the official calendar:
: 16:00 JST = NTT e-Sports Special Program (some eSports league? and internet cafes? I don't know it)
: 17:00 JST = Happinet GAME SHOWCASE (a Japanese conglomeration. They seem to have a lot of "indies" from American/European companies to distribute, plus Broccoli and Inti Creates and Kadokawa go through them.)
: 18:00 JST = 505 Games New Title Showcase (will have Eiyuden Chronicles / Rising, plus Grow Song of the Evertree, ReLegend, etc)
: 19:00 JST = SQUARE ENIX PRESENTS TGS2021 (Ok, if anybody could make TGS 2021 real, it's Square Enix. They'll have Actraiser, Final Fantasy Origin, Chocobo GP, Final Fantasy VII The First Soldier, Forespoken, Project Triangle Strategy, Voice of Cards, and Guardians of the Galaxy, and maybe more?)
: 20:00 JST = THE IDOLM@STER Starlit Season Starlit Report Oversized Issue (One of the Idolmaster games)
: 21:00 JST = Megaton Musashi (Level-5's new multimedia project, which has an anime and a game and other stuff.)
: 22:00 + 23:00 JST = Sega Nyu (Sega and Atlus take the last 2 hours for their games, including a brand new SEGA RPG. SEGA isn't saying what's scheduled to be there; later at the show they'll have Lost Judgment, PSO2 New Genesis, SMB Banana Mania, Sonic Colors, Fist of the North Star Legends Revive, the two Tokyo Olympic games...a little late, Atlus' Shin Megami Tensei V, and partner games Demon Slayer Hinokami Chronicles and Hashihime of the Old Book Town Append and those will probably pad out the show some, but at least 1 new product will debut somewhere in this block)

This is painful to watch for someone that grew up with FFVII - starting with the presenter being a perfect beta 'I will let other men fuck my wife NTR style' with first game being literally trash PS4 graphics with shitty English name again, to the same tropes we see over and over again with Japanese games.
only had some forspoken, that triangle something game, and the actraiser game. I think the triangle trailer might have had more background story info but not sure.
I really wish they picked somebody else as the host or had someone to balance his serious style.

What a shit show. So much for TGS. Triangle Strategy and Voice of Cards are looking good, but we already saw them recently. The rest is an embarrassment to even take a glimpse at, save for FF Origin which seems to be somewhere between mediocre and remotely decent. So they removed the word chaos? Good thing they implemented the feedback from last time.

They never said chaos this time around. I'm not sure if they switched chaos into darkness or if Chaos is simply a person and the darkness is everything else.
It's a maybe for me. The extra styles of scenery was nice to see since the original trailer was just grey after grey backgrounds. I vaguely remember folks calling it squareenix's souls game and I am not a fan of those games.They got bullied from the last time.
