Just "national security?" So the rest of the world is safe then? Cool, thanks.

What a fool. I like Blink and I like Tom, but what a stupid decision. He'll fade away into obscurity very soon

Wait I thought I saw him at E3 with Blink 182 at Bethesda's conference...?

Maybe that wasn't him.

Blink 182 performed at a private Microsoft party at the Palladium back in 2001. Epic night out with wall-to-wall open bars, tai chi, hookers in shower stalls and a solid mosh pit.

Those fellow GAF folks that were there know what I'm saying.

Hey mom there's something in the backroom
I hope it's not the creatures from above
You used to read me stories
As if my dreams were boring
We all know conspiracies are dumb

What if people knew that these were real
I'd leave my closet door open all night
I know the CIA would say
What you hear is all hearsay
I wish someone would tell me what was right.

“I think that contact is kind of a vague description of a lot of things,” he added. “I think there has been [alien] hardware, and whether by design or by accident, it's fallen in multiple countries.”

That's how we got wifi right? It fell out of a ship.

What if he's the guy who finally figures it all out though.

I'm still hoping Obama gets to be the president to hold the press meeting in front of the White House where he reveals we've made contact with aliens. And I'm not even American. He's the coolest president we'll have for a while, and I can't see Hillary doing it (seeing Trump make that speech would be interesting in its own way, but would probably mean the end of the world).

Oh yes, quite. Get right on that, Tom.

Paranoia symptoms right there

Too bad his fear of UFO's didn't keep him from forming Blink 182 in the first place.

Wow what a zinger!

Blink 182 was great and hopefully will be great again with the new album.

As for Tom, he wasn't an amazing musician but he had an unique voice and wrote catchy hooks and lyrics. I'm down for Matt but I wish old T was still around.

That was Matt Skiba from The Alkaline Trio. He has replaced Tom but obviously they still sing the old songs. How did you like it?

The hero we deserve.

I love you Tom!
I mean, Tom was never good at either but he used to be able to at least try.

Go to YT and watch a live Blink performance with Tom in 2014. He doesn't even remember the lyrics to Dammit.

That's not fair. Eddie Vedder forgets lyrics too sometimes.

Really click bait title.

But yeah, he loves aliens and wants to do all of this weird stuff relating that so he as no time for Blink. More power to him I guess.

But at some point a line was clearly drawn between joking around and being dead serious.

He was always serious.

He has said that the first thing he did when he got internet back in the day was search for this shit. And he has been going to sites to try and see aliens for the longest time.

The guy loves aliens and all of that stuff.

If it makes him happy then I'm not going to be the one to rain on the parade. I can't help but feel anything but sadness when I think of him nowadays or what Blink used to be to myself and my friends growing up.

When I was a kid I used to watch all of those alien mystery shows and they would interview ufologists and I thought that was the coolest job in the world.

Now that I'm an adult I wonder how the fuck those guys make money from being a ufologist.
Tom luckily doesn't have to worry about money.

Thanks to you and others for clearing that up. I wasn't physically there, and I don't think they streamed the performance. Was just watching the conference online and saw they were interviewed.
