Tom Henderson in a podcast mentioned (but not able to verify) from sources that young Kratos is going back to Greece. However, he does not know if it is a remaster, prequel, or reboot.



Another member of the podcast, Grant, mentioned that an unheard of studio and project will reveal their game at the SoP. Seems very excited for the game when seeing footage. That studio was at Gamescom last year. Heard it will happen around mid-next week, expecting a Thursday in their time zone.

The second game could focus on Atreus and agrabota or whatever she's called bridging the gap to the Egyptian pantheon. I'd prefer if the Greek GOW game was a ps6 title.

I don't want to go back to the hack and slash genre of the first games. I look fondly at playing them 20 years ago, but gameplay has not sustained the test of time, imo. It's why the genre is pretty much dead
