Tom Warren: "This is an Xbox" slogan will make more sense soon

Most of Xbox leadership is intellectually bankrupt and also insanely dishonest. Some of them are just borderline retarded (Greenberg). They want to offload their failures to the MS legal department. When MS loses the case, they gonna go to Papa Nutella and say we were gonna make it but the legal team lost and so we will always be in 3rd place. Honestly even if they win the case, they will still be in 3rd place but with a new excuse. They really need to clean house at Xbox and bring in a new leadership team instead of the current crop of pity party loving losers.
The only thing in your post I disagree with is the word borderline being included.

My theory is that the current leadership is the only people that is keeping the Xbox brand going. Once they are gone Xbox will probably come to an end, it’s the only thing that makes sense because I can’t understand why MS wouldn’t have at least tried to go into a different direction all these years.

It’s either that or the key heads at Xbox actually like the results they are getting lol.

Their fall after the 360 era is one of the most confusing things that happened in the gaming industry. They literally self sabotaged their brand for not one but two straight generations.

Most genZ expect to play their games everywhere. On iPad, xbox, pc, playstation, switch. They don’t care. They just want to play Fortnite, Minecraft etc. and they do expect that it is possible to play their games everywhere.

I play with about 10 Gen Z people. They don't expect their games to play everywhere. They don't even like playing games everywhere either. They go out and do things with their friends. In fact one of them played on mobile for a very long time you know why? Because his mom would only buy him a phone. It made sense to her for him to have a phone but she refused to spend so much on a console. His dad finally bought him a console and he barely plays on his phone now.

I really think all these thoughts/studies on genz and younger gamers are going to end up looking really dumb when nothing changes as they get older. This idea that kids will still be gaming the same way they did as kids (when they had no money) vs when they are adults and have their own money is silly. One of them recently used his money to upgrade to a PS5 when Hell Divers 2 came out. I think all this stuff is going to look just as dumb as when people predicted that phones would take over gaming and consoles were dead.

But do they expect to do the same thing with a game like GTA 6, FC25, and Madden?

Of course it will look dumb in 5-10 years. "People" said the same thing about consoles being dead 10 years ago before the PS4 launched.
