Too Human: Generic - Only for the XBOX360

I just got the new EGM and there is a Too Human screenshot showing what I believe is the main character. Honestly, you could drop him into UT2007, Gears of War, or the PS3 UE3 demo and nobody would say he looks out of place.

Is it a requirement that all characters in a UE3 game look alike?

Anyhow, the game is described as the God of War for the XBOX 360 and is confirmed to have co-op. Let's see what SK can do.
 
Well , since they licensed the Unreal engine 3.0 I expect the graphic to be as good as Gears of Wars
 
Is it the same pic that has been floating around since the Playsation era....This comapany has released what two games for the Gamecube and one for the playstation. That is what three games in how many yrs...

Has Silicon Knights made a good game since the original Legacy of Kain?

Although it wasn't a masterpiece or anything, I didn't mind Eternal Darkness...(runs)

That said, I couldn't believe the shit job they did on the MGS remake.

If I was Hideo Kojima, I'd challenge Dennis Dyack to a duel.
 
I'm very disappointed SK didn't show any games at E3. I cant help but laughing at them and think that Nintendo was smart to abandon them. They've had 1,5 years to show something for this E3 and yet they failed. They're just like Rare. Couldn't care less anymore.

I think the concept was to latch onto any popular game at the time people ask about it ;). They used to describe it in terms of MGS and FF7.
 
Lets not kid ourselves though Legacy of Kain was pretty much unplayble on the ps, because of load times.. It was also pretty uneven in the gameplay department, cool story though for an action/rpg..

Definitely.

It would be a one-sided battle though, since Dyack's movements would be stuttery and poorly-textured.

Frame City Killer also runs on the UE3 and look at its prettyness. Good tools without technical and artistic talent mean squat =P

Whoever thinks GoW has generic art needs to have himself checked as soon as possible BTW.

oh come on, it looks like a 10 pixel high image scaled up to 50 pixels. its way way to tiny to see anything in, they could have saud its from a playstation game and I wouldn't have even noticed anything out of the ordinary.
 
The textures on the Too Human guy look incredibly muddy. He looks like a UE3 model if they melted it. They seem to have completely changed the game too. The only thing that is the same seems to be the name. I always thought the original concept was cool, playing as a cybernetic cop with RPG elements where you can customize your body parts and shit. Now its a God of War wannabe "slash and shooter" where you play as a god named Balder.

Looks decent yeah, you can see a lot more detail in those screens than the ones released (like the geometry in the jetpacks, ground textures, scale of the levels etc).
 
The most amusing part is where they say that the game is "still nearly two years away". Considering that MGS:TS was released over a year ago, they are taking a long-ass time to make a hack n' slash game.

Are you being serious? FCK looks like trash in both screens and motion. Ugly textures, super low poly count, terrible animations...

The game looks fucking terrible in motion or in screens. The funniest thing I've seen so far was when someone photoshopped a screenshot of Frame City on a PSP screen and it looked like a real PSP game.

The only bad thing I can say about Frame City Killer is that since it was a very early build, the ennemies acted weird and had virtually no AI but that's it. Superb looking game so far.
 
You have pretty low standards, that's all I can say if you really think that FCK is "superb looking". Good for you I guess, you won't suffer that much when the first gen hits the console.

I never said original. I like it. You don't. Imagine that, someone having a different opinion than you. Does this come as a shock?
 
I thought the city looked okay when I watched the trailer, but everything else -- including the character models and indoor environments -- looked pretty bad to me.

Yeah, the animations especially the bad guys when being shot at etc.. It was hilariously bad but it's a very early build.
 
Too Human... this game is still alive?! I remember it being previewed as the next big thing for the Playstation in EGM way back when. Thats PS1. Nearly 7 years ago. This is like Duke Nukem Forever on quaaludes.
