They actually need to dub episodes 9 and 10 but this would be fantastic for the 2-3 hour
If it's not as popular as the big 3 in the west it's just because it hasn't gotten a chance to air on TV yet, deep down you know it'd be huge the same way Shippuden is
I don't think it'll be compelling enough. Naruto and Bleach had compelling starts, despite how they turned out. Fairy Tail is just the same shit, it's more vanilla and by-the-numbers than Blue Exorcist.

Yeah Fairy Tail seems to be the only one that they could pick that would headline the front of the block like Bleach did. It's got lots of episodes too and it's very popular.

Fairy Tail also starts out really really slow from what I remember. Not sure how it'd hold up in the long run, but it might not keep audiences during the first few arcs.
I guess tits do help to distract from the story.

I think you're letting your general dislike of Fairy Tail blind you to just how popular it actually is, at worst it should do as well as One Piece does on the block
If people put up with Shippuden they'll put up with Fairy Tail which has action and tits from episode 1
It would probably be better if it was a mid-range series, something only a year or two long tops. That way they can get the simulcast when the manga ends and they start Bleach: TFA.

I think people put up with Shippuden more because of the original Naruto. I put up with it because of that and ended up just switching over to the manga instead.

It probably doesn't, but I think it'd make things easier for Adult Swim in that they won't have to make so many purchases. Plus people don't like change and having a consistent show shown over time probably helps ratings. Bleach is mediocre but it gets 1 mill every week.

i think it at this point we can kind of stop worrying about taking one for the team since something would be "good for the block" unless it has the potential to be hugely successful like Attack on Titan. i don't think Fairy Tail fits that description.
