Ugh not the English dub ending again.
It doesn't do a thing for me.

They essentially stretched one scene to a whole episode, and it felt like itWow they really made this scene awkward in comparison to the movie.
Team Fourstar explained it kind of well. He's more of an "obstacle" in the movie, someone just doing his job who only was "evil" when he got mad, but here, he feels more villain-ish, more in line of what we've seen similar to Cell.Yeah, I'm... kind of still liking the movie version of all of this more.
Beerus, despite being terrifying in the movie, didn't come off like a straight villain to me either somehow. Here, it's just... I dunno. It's not working as well for me.
Also, that slap...
And Gotenks deserved a spanking dammit. Not that wrist shit.

Just wait till the next episode. They essentially stretched one scene to a whole episode, and it felt like it
*shrugs* No idea why they changed that. Maybe they felt like they needed it to be different enough from the movie for people to get to check out Super? Why is the Super version of this on a boat?

It's funny how overblown this episode of Super was compared to this
Of course Horizon: Zero Dawn comes out the same week as the Switch, Breath of the Wild, Kolin in SFV, & Logan.

I prefer the BoG version. More straightforward and the slap works better imo
Guess they didn't want to just rehash all the same stuff from the movie. I appreciate it.
I think this will be said for most of the BoG and the ENTIRETY of Resurrection of F.
