Yup, the line between sociopath and "small group of friends and family I care about" is very slim, but very real. HxH makes that real clear, and makes the phantom troupe especially compelling from that point. And the fight between that and the Phantom Troup's inner utilitarian faction makes that especially compelling. It's why Yorkness is one of HxH's finest seasons
