I love how when Kakashi gets a second magic eyeball he basically worfs the big bad in like 30 seconds, it does go a long way toward showing how important actual skill with your moves is.

Skill is fine an all but without Minato though there they would've been killed. Isn't part of being a jounin showing leadership qualities? Kid Kakashi clearly doesn't have those. He can't effectively lead anyone out of a paper bag.
