If true, that's fairly confusing. Japan must not be sending them the DVD masters for some reason. Maybe because of how late the releass is? Or perhaps they don't think it's worth the trouble because the differences are so small?

I still don't think this is evidence of Viz being lazy or that they'll do the same with series with more major differences like Jojo.

I like the greater use of hard fantasy but the comedy style is vastly overdone by this point.
