That won't happen. English DVD releases are always based on the Japanese DVD masters. Even Funimation who simulcasts shows like One Piece go back and use the DVD masters for their releases.

I remember a thread on reddit comparing a scene from an earlier episode that had slight changes in the BD, and the one we got was the broadcast version and not the BD version.
