Most of the good guys are named either after foods or clothing.
That's one of Toriyama's weird quirks.
A good example is Chrono Trigger. Magus' three goons were originally called Vinegar, Mayonne, and Soiso, after condiments.
The English localization changed them to Ozzie, Flea, and Slash, after notable rock stars.
