I'm still thinking that the current Toonami ceiling is 1.5mil. Kai might break that, but I'm not seeing much more than that.

To be fair, Bleach filler consisted of new premiering episodes. Kai, though uncut, is still stuff most everyone has seen already.

The ratings for Cooler Revenge will be able to give us some actual data of how much weight the DBZ name holds and I am interested to see those numbers.

The writing's spoiled me more. Abridged is just so funny and self-aware of all the bullshit in the series that it's completely ruined DBZ for me.

Holy shit Black Dynamite gives Black Lagoon a run for it's money in the bleep department.

I never got into this show despite loving the live action movie.

Just got home. Will update with con impressions later but it was generally awesome.
It was only my second convention ever.
The panel was awesome and so was the one before it. ANIMANIACS CAST! SONGS and everything!

Vic > the rest. Sean's sounds a bit loopy but I dig it. The others are kinda meh.

Dragon Soul > Rock the Dragon > Head Cha-La

I always wanted to get into black dynamite, but since I didnt catch it from the beignning and always catch random episodes, I havent committed to it, ofcourse im assuming it has a more overarching plot even if it was episodic or not like boondocks

The movie was fantastic, but it didn't really translate all that well into a weekly show. There are some good moments here and there, just not enough to make it as good as the Boondocks or some of the other Adult Swim shows.

I liked that episode of Black Dynamite. It has an interesting visual style, good music, and it seems like it has the same cast from the movie doing the voiceovers.

It's the same cast as the movie.
Though I think this might be an alternate reality or something since Honey Bee looks different from the movie and
Bull Horn and Cream Corn are alive
