Im not saying this is a good or bad thing, but it's definitely something I've noticed. Like the dialogue:action ratio is just a notch above other battle shonen.

yeah HxH is very much not an episodic series and unless the anime changes it, it usually does not reexplain things

This is more of a thing in the anime than in the manga, it's really impressive. Alleviates a lot of the exposition and dialogue-heavy nature of the manga.

It's a very good adaptation.
