Not really. The anime skips a bunch of shit, but this scene just plays out normally.

Okay fine, this I'll agree with. The appeal of Kirito being a badass of his realm is pretty obvious. This torture porn? I have no fucking idea who it's supposed to appeal to.
GXP is deliberately awful, and not trying to pretend it's anything beyond a harem show. I don't like it, but at least it's not trying to fool anyone. That vs SAO which is an equally shitty harem show fancied up by nerd fantasies.
I'm playing Etrian Odyssey as I marvel at this.

I'm reading an somewhat edgy (but fun) manga while watching this in the background. I can't just watch this and stay sane.
this show has definitely entered hate-watch territory. 12 more weeks to go!
Pretty sure I will never understand why anyone would like GXP. It was so terrible it not only got moved to a graveyard slot on Toonami, but was so awful that it effectively killed the entire Tenchi franchise. I also rather doubt there was any degree awareness of how much it sucked.

Alice in Borderland, pretty much Gantz but fun so far (so like Gantz early game).
It's a harem wish fantasy thing. Yea, it's objectively bad but I could understand liking it.

I'd watch Tokyo Ghoul over KLK. Not a popular opinion, but KLK makes me uncomfortable as fuck.
Torture porn I've seen plenty of, but KLK just feels wierd and exploitative.

You know, after the previous episode, I was expecting this episode to just be one-on-one fights between the side characters and various underlings. That would have been so much better than this.

Which older Tenchi shows did much better (I admit to being impressed they managed to make GXP even worse than Tenchi in Tokyo, though).
