Whaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaat?

If you say I'd choose Tokyo Ghoul over Akami Ga Kill, then yeah alright I can see that. But over KLK???
I stopped watching KLK after 2 episodes, and never want to go back. Way over the top fanservice is just gross to me. I can't explain it, it just fucking bugs me and I turn it off.

Shame too, I liked the characters and over the topness of some of KLK.

What is the end goal of all this? Kaneko goes Super Sayian and kills the bad guys? Do we have to go through all of this? This isn't deep, this is dumb!

Okay I'm trying to actually understand what the point of this is. We have one character blaming Kaneki for everything bad that is happening. Are we supposed to feel the Kaneki made mistakes or that he has some agency here that he's not acting on? Are we supposed to feel simply that these are manipulative villains?

We get it, you want to break his brain. There's easier ways to do that than torture porn.

The writer wants to break Kaneki down so he can be rebuilt, but the issue is there's nothing to break down so it all comes off as flat. He's been a vanilla milquetoast MC with no agency from the start, none of this was needed to change him in the way they want to.

I didn't even get "actually" mad at any of the awful SAO stuff.

But... I think I'm getting mad at this... actually, I think I'm pretty sure I am.

Wow.

I'm actually looking at this show and going "How fucking dare you..."

I'll admit the fanservice can be a bit over the top, but the characters in KLK are 100x better than this shit I'm seeing.

Ok, can they do a better job showing actual deaths of ghouls due to the whole regen thing? Cracking necks and stabbings won't be enough.

Gives all the fucks
oh man, guys, it's all symbolic & shit

the world isn't black & white, it's actually a big shade of grey

just like my psychology 101 class taught me

At least SAO was funny in how bad it was.
I could hate watch SAO flame videos for days! At the same time, I have no energy and no desire to waste a single additional thought on this horrible show. There's nothing to laugh at here, other than the absurdity. People suffering isn't entertaining to watch, even ironically.

Bane? Get them on board, I'll call it in.
For the record
The part where Jason kills the two to torture Kaneki had more weight in the manga, because he met the two before. For some reason they cut it out.

Why they couldn't do an adaptation that followed the manga closer I don't know. It's clear those are the kinds people like.

Something in the manga here that makes somewhat more sense is that after an escape attempt, Kaneki agrees to give up without a fight to Jason in exchange for Banjo and his pals going free. He believes they were set free until they get wheeled out around here for that choice.

Because to save time and they only care for the Akame ga kill audience

It absolutely has better characters. And better everything, shit. This is awful, but it doesn't matter if KLK repulses me to the point of me turning it off.

It's how I'm sure many are feeling watching this scene.
