Going by what Leda was saying. I think that scene at the beginning of the episode was a hypothetical dream placed in Leda's memory. Basically, she is designed to be the first female robot capable of giving birth, and that was placed in her head as an ultimate goal or something. It's not something that happened.

That's pretty much it.

Leda is probably the most insane character introduced so far.

I'll just say to anyone who's considering making the terrible mistake I did - never marathon Casshern Sins. My chest has never burned like that before. You can only take so many feels in one sitting.
