Let me be the first Canadian to bitch about this deal.

It sucks for us. We have TRUs, but neither the actual locations or amazon.ca supports this deal. I could order it on amazon.com, but shipping would kill me. Ok, I'm done.
 
So is there any way you can mix and match prices and systems? The top three games I want are SMT: Nocturne, Paper Mario 2, and Otogi 2. It'd be nice if I could do it online instead of hoping that Toys R Us has all three in stock at once.

That sucks, do the canadian stores usually have good deals ?
 
bleh. can't combine games across platforms, and the tax and shipping practically negate the savings on $20 games. i'll just try it in-store.
 
Let me be the second Canadian that comlains about this deal.
It's stupid that we can't enjoy these same sales. Especially as TRU has the worst prices around for games up here. It takes them years to move their prices down on stuff.

Last year I bought 9 games and shipped them to family in the US. This year there is nothing really there that I need. So I feel better

Someone help me out, please. Was really looking forward to this, and my local TRU is a lost cause since they're always out of stock of everything.
 
Wow, that's really lame. I didn't even want to mix n' match consoles....I just wanted to buy a $39.99 game and a $29.99 game.

Shit, it looks like Alien Hominid missed the October ship date anyway. That leaves me with just wanting Neo Contra (which TRU probably won't even stock!).

Can anyone recommend a game or two (any system) that's niche/quirky and worth taking a chance on? Is Astroboy PS2 any good?
 
Im just gonna do what I did last year...buy some games,then just take them to Wal-Mart on different days and tell them they were gifts or whatever,worked last year :D
 
I'd watch that, Walmart keeps track of your returns. I did it several times one year and now i'm blacklisted from returning things :P

The one time I did it they asked for my license, so I'd rather not do it again.
 
They asked for my liscense,but I really did it about 6 times,hmmm...I also do it at different WM's too,that matter?

Plus I did it around Christmas time,so I don't think anyone would get suspicious during that time :P

I got ESPN NBA 2K5, ESPN NHL 2K5, and Soul Calibur 2 for $50.

I think they limit you to 3 returns without a receipt per person per year

wha? That's not that good of a deal. I picked up NHL2K5 for $14 at Fry's the day it came out.
 
I clicked on the GC 29.99 link, saw Wario World and Mario Golf in there for 19.99 each, ordered both and Harvest Moon (29.99), and managed to get Harvest Moon free. Go figure. Now I hope they don't cancel it :-P

Usually they ask for your license/state id. When they do, they record your id/license #.
 
You can get Brothers In Arms on XBOX, even though it doesn't come out until MARCH 2005? wtf?

Apparently Zelda doesn't work in the 19.99 bracket because it is priced 19.95? WTF again?

Has anyone gotten this to work? It is telling me the $50 xbox code is expired, and the $20 gamecube code won't work.
