Day one!
Pffft, Intolerable Cruelty was amaaaazing. I've actually never seen The Ladykillers. Remains my only film of theirs that I haven't seen... didn't really feel very compelled to and just haven't ever remedied it.bafflewaffle said:after their 4 movie losing streak, this looks like a winner

It's the exact same kind of humor, in fact the thematic and storrytelling parallels in the 2 films are staggering.
The only real difference is that in TBL the characters are idiots in an endearing way, rather than an infuriating one.

The Big Lebowski is one of the best comedies ever made, Burn After Reading is just not that funny... I think it's one of those love it or hate it movies, and I was more on the side of hating it. Hate is a strong word, but I have no desire to ever watch it again. Brad Pitt was hilarious, and what happens to him was completely unexpected.
Whoever mentioned The Ladykillers, I thought it was funnier than Burn After Reading.
The Interrobanger said:I would put TBL > BAR too, but to say you "hate" it when it's a Coen brothers film through and through is really hard to fathom.

You get a brief glimpse of Richard Kind, surely you recognize him.SpeedingUptoStop said:It's so bizarre not recognizing a single person in a movie trailer.
But, I recognize the name of the directors and therefore, will watch.
