So we're getting deadmau5 AND Eric Prydz on the ASOT stage at Ultra this year. So strange but so awesome. I can't remember Prydz set from last year, was it any good?

Prydz was Prydz, he made no concessions for the trance crowd.

Deadmau5 is weird to me..dude is a straight up troll. Wouldn't be surprised if he trolled the ASOT stage in some way.

Prydz set was good last year, but yeah it's Prydz, don't expect trance (it was still better than a lot of other sets like Rayel and stuff).

Deadmau5 is an odd choice, especially when he shitted all over ASOT on twitter (with even Armin responding him).

That's what's interesting because when Armin responded it was an invitation to come and play 'real trance' at ASOT

The Godskitchen Last Dance lineups are out. Mega lineups for the last ever GK event!

I had Saturday tickets from the morning they sold out in seconds. Saw the lineups and booked Friday, too. Double nighter!

Let's all hope PVD is OK.
Accident at ASOT where he has fallen off the stage. Drop was 6 or 7 meters apparently.
He has been airlifted to hospital. That stage at ASOT was closed.

Hope him a fast recovery and hope he's well, but man, DJs needs to stop going up the booth and jumping carelessy. I expected something like this to happen one day and sadly I wasn't wrong. Safety is always first.

I decided to pick up Art of Trances new track "Ultrafoxx" off of Beatport. It is good to know that he is still capable of making quality music. Also The Thrillseekers new song "Just Because" has me pretty excited for his new album whenever it comes out.

I went back through the Platipus Records "Archive" releases a few months ago and it is shocking how much good music came out of that label.

His prime is over and done, imo. He made great music, now he makes good music.. but the dude himself is an annoying disaster. I feel like his hype is gone, know what I mean?

But yea deadmau5 kind of got left in the dust when house blew up. He will always have a fan base and be seen as a great producer though. His latest tracks are pretty damn good too

This is the latest update on his FB page

We'd like to express our heartfelt thanks and gratitude for everyone's overwhelming support for PvD this past week. We have very good news to report as Paul is fully conscious and now under normal care. Paul did sustain a concussion and cracked vertebrae. Though he must remain under hospital care while his condition improves, we expect Paul to recover fully from his injuries. PvD deeply appreciates your support and looks forward to touring again as soon as possible.

Not sure if you guys checked it, but Gareth Emery and Ashley Wallbridge joined forces tackled the Mainstream EDM frauds by becoming a duo named "CVNT5".

They released a song, named "CVNT5" and the video is freaking hilarious (check until the end btw, someone makes a special appearance :D)

Whose the second name the ghost producer says in the CVNT5 video?

From the sounds not bleeped + lip reading you can tell the first name is Borgeous and the third is Martin Garrix (or is it Markus Schulz? edit: he's saying Markus Schulz after all), but no idea on the middle one.

i remember hearing a trancey version of the korgis' - everybody's gotta learn sometime, we are talking something like 15 years ago.
From what i remember it had female vocals instead of the original male one.
i tried googling some of these infos but what i've found is not what i remember.
Anyone?Did i dream it?

The First you linked, the Infectious one, is what comes closer in terms of vocals, but it's not what i remember.
There were also some backing vocals over the lead part, like an acappella chorus.
Thank you for suggestions!

Maybe it's one of those you linke and i simply have distorted memories;)

Does Beatport allow one to sample all tracks before buying? Too much trance out there, also too many genres. I have a particular sound I like, definitely want to explore artists and tracks. Thanks.
