I guess TMNT, Avatar the Last Airbender, another Transformers title or maybe something really crazy (Spyro? Crash? Pro Skater?) are the next things they will be doing with Activision.
It really seems that with Kora and Transformers, Activision loves the work Platinum is doing for them (and if anything, Activision saved the Rising team; with Rising 2 scrapped, Activision likely gave them the offer to work with an licensed IP that they own the publishing rights too). So them continuing to work with Platinum makes a lot of sense overall.
Gotta comment on the games soundtrack though....its like the love child of Rising's OST and the old-school Transformers cartoon; its amazing :').
I don't own a PS4 yet but does the PS3 version of this run well? Would love to give this a shot but I don't know if I'm getting a PS4 this fall, so if anyone can answer this, I would greatly appreciate it.
The preorder dlc skins are available for a free download on the Australian PS Store. Is this a mistake?
That's Nemesis Prime with the Dark Star Saber, Red Alert with the Photon Disrupter and Goldfire with the Golden Hunter.
I was able to download and install the skin pack without any problems.
Well, I was thinking of parking and unlocking the door using the spare key, but... that works too!
I can't believe Challenge 22 is literally just.bloody palace
Wait a sec, that screen... Does that mean you fight those two at the same time?!
Melts my face. Might be better than the Rising soundtrack tbh. Same level at least, even without vocals.
Anyone who can help me with a path to play this game after Warrior difficulty would be awesome. I want to play through the higher difficulties with all characters.
I played it once through with Optimus on Warrior. Then I started on Commander with Bumblebee. Gave him some lvl 10 weapons and upgraded his stats a bit. What should I do after that? Magnus wit everyone and then the same on Prime? Trying to figure out a roadmap.
Anyone wish there was a way to pick Platinum's and Activision's brains about this game? I'm dying to know how this thing got green-lit. What it was like getting Hasbro to OK all of the crazy shit in this game. Figuring out that the metal soundtrack was the best fit. I'm a crazy-ass Transformers fan and would love to know details like this.

Yeah, anything more than 1 hammer dude might as well be a boss fight
yea, you need more patience. i think grim is the only one that unlocks at 99, lol.So..,characters gain new tech slots by increasing their Rank? I've been increasing BB's rank, up to 26 now, but no extra slot. I feel like I'm wasting credits on that category.
Is anyone else amazed how old franchises stick around?
There clearly must be something to series' such as Transformers/TMNT/GI Joe etc.
Even 30 years later, there are comic books, movies, animated series and even video games.
Its kind of incredible really.

The model gallery is really brilliant. I love how it doubles up as a music player for the game's soundtrack.

...How Bumblebee knocked Megatron towards Optimus prime and juggled him with a combo before Bumblebee picked it up again and wailed on him with aerial combos and kept the juggle going. Looked so sick.

Just started the game, went in dark, heard it was cool
Pretty badass so far
Don't know who to use though
There are weapon perks and TECHs that increase Focus Time if you need it.Quick systems questions:
I'm about halfway through the first play through and am trying to understand how to (or if there is) dodge offset.
I keep running into enemies that do some sort of parry mid combo (meaning I don't get to vehicle attack), and getting my butt kicked in right after I use a vehicle attack (especially on the combiners).
I'm not exactly sure what state s the game has to address those two things. Bayonetta Witch Time was your friend, but Prime Time seems very short in comparison.
I'm honestly glad the game has equipment and TECHs. They add legitimate variety and have noticeable effect on how you play, and the management gives you an excuse for downtime. I'd have said before playing this that it was dumb to have anything more than a shop like Bayonetta, but I think it works pretty well.

Spinning lariat and palm thrust can be used for a quick Vehicle Attack when your Overdrive meter (the Transformers icon in the top-left corner) starts blinking different colors. Red has a higher probability than orange though, from what I've gathered.Quick systems questions:

The loot is causing a burnout effect for me now. Admittedly there is some nice variety in the available weaponry, but the whole system could've used some much-needed streamlining and that's ignoring all the cumbersome UI oversights. Also doesn't help that I've reached the point where it's mandatory for me to clear out my inventory again for 5 - 10 minutes each time I've hit the cap (which is after every hour of grinding Prime difficulty challenges), because I'm hoarding up the good weapon skills for the other characters and I quite frankly don't care about improving my arsenal for my 'primary' fighter. It's such a buzzkill, made worse by the fact it's a problem the devs could've resolved without much effort.I'm honestly glad the game has equipment and TECHs. My issue with the weapons/TECHs is more than that the interface is cumbersome and you can't manage it efficiently. I mean, you can't even read weapon perk descriptions unless you have a weapon with filled-up slots and try to merge it with another weap that also has a perk - that's just unintuitive.
But ultimately it's not a massive issue. But it could have been handled way better.
Tonight will be all about Taco Bell and Transformers
The Doritos Locos Tacos Devastator Combo!Ace!
Correct. So are better drops tied to higher difficulties?
