I did the same thing but I was only able to find Trauma Center. I had to buy Phoenix Wright online to get it.Fifty said:I found them both easily in Toronto on the release date, but I didn't even bother checking EB. Local independant stores that don't have to go through all of EB's importing bs are by far the best options for titles such as these.

I really don't care about the French manuals, personally...doesn't bother me in the least.
Or worse, the Canadian version of Street Fighter : Anniversary Collection for Xbox came with the french manual ONLY all across Canada!ManDudeChild said:I hate the extra French manuals we have to deal with.

ManDudeChild said:The fact of the matter is, the additional manual makes for longer game waits up here in many cases.

shuri said:Uhh I had both I believe and I am in Quebec..
Pachinko said:Yeah the whole french manual shit is a fucking joke. Quebec is the only province with a law saying EVERYTHING has to be dual language for box+instructions yet typically what doesn't come out in quebec gets delayed for the rest of us normal english speaking canadians. Or in some cases comes to canada with only a french manual. Worse still from what french speakers tell me the french translations are often really awful so why bother ?
As for these 2 games in particular- Both should be at EB this coming week. Trauma center was listed has shipping in EB's computer system and well if gyakutan saiben DS is scheduled for the 18th it should also be out by the end of the week.
Deku said:I've noticed Canada no longer has near simultaneous launches with the US, which used to be the case. Even first party stuff from Sony and Nintendo come up two to three days later.
So Mario Kart DS's official launch here is Nov 17 while the Americans get it on the 14th.
stewy said:Is that really the reason? I was assuming it had something to do with clearing customs on shipping. Just basing that on the fact that an "overnight" courier delivery from the US to Canada actually takes two nights to get here.
If you can, I would say pick both up. Both are excellent games that should definitely be played. It just depends on which one you want to play more. Trauma Center has some great touchscreen use and it's fun while Phoenix Wright has excellent writing and it's addictive to boot.Deku said:I don't feel like creating a new thread so I'll ask here.
Trauma Center or Phoenix Wright? or both? I can't decide.

I'm very interested in Lost in Blue as well. Reading the impressions here on GAF really makes me want to pick it up.Deku said:Which game is more fun and has more value?
You see, I'd also like to pick up Lost in Blue, so that's 3 games and I don't think I want to buy all 3. So I'm trying to decide between the 3.![]()
huzkee said:My EB got 3 copies of Trauma Centre (I'm in Wpg). They had 2 in pre-order I got the last one. I don't think Phoenix Wright is out anywhere yet.
Deku said:Even the real French people in France would agree with that.
