I uploaded my first track: its called bumpy tunnels and its an easy track with not much to worry about. A looping and some cavern stuff. I hope people here like it. Even though im not that familiar with the editor yet i cant wait to make more intricate stuff.

its fun. you guys should check it out. its a nice cross between speed and technical hill climb.

i grabbed #1 for now, but the replay is borked. :( im sure ill be crushed soon anyways.

Man, I'm still only on the Medium tracks, but the game is SO much fun, in large part thanks to the really creative level design. It's so nice to have more variety to the tracks now. Just finished up the mind trip one.

Don't give up. When I first hit the extreme tracks in Trials HD I was getting 300+ faults. Now I am ranked about #150 on Inferno 2.

Yeah, I went back to some of the expert tracks I had done a year ago recently in HD and split my time in half with 1/4th of the faults. It's amazing how much your skill progresses without realizing it. I'd recommend going back to some of the easier tracks if you get discouraged to realize how much better you are.

There are rumors that one of the squirrels can only be found by perfecting one of the Extreme tracks, so yeah... Better get practicing!

I'm just gonna go ahead and kill myself now, it's a shortcut to the inevitable conclusion for me trying to master Extreme. :(

It's crazy how much just some little things that don't even really affect gameplay can add so much to the atmosphere and feel. Going around corners, seeing that you actually ride in a wide open location, having tons of stuff going on in the background (like on that track with the collapsing bridge).

It's really good.

If anyone wants to add me to have another ghost to race against, my GT is Drakken688. I'd like to get some more people on my friends leaderboard as well.

Any tips on the game? i got all gold on beginner but after that i can barely get a silver.

Move away from a track for a while. I found on some of the Expert ones in HD (the very few that I even passed lol) I just had to leave it and come back days later with a fresh view on it.

I would get stuck essentially trying the same thing over and over.

The Titan Graveyard track is really good. Big jumps and cool use of rotation towards the end. Really loving the variety that this game offers. So good.

It is crazy to me that RedLynx had a superior leader board system in place for their iOS game Tiny Heroes.

In Tiny Heroes, you can assign yourself to a leaderboard group. So I am in the Neogaf group, and so I can compare my times to everybody else, even if I am not GameCenter friends with them.

I don't know if there were technical hurdles preventing them from doing this or what, but man it would be so much damn better for situations like this where a large group of people want to compete against each other without necessarily being friends.

On that note, I have been adding a bunch of people on the Neogaf Trials friends list, so if you get an invite from YabooshWabowsky, it is for Trials.

Anybody else, if you want an average Trials player to compete against, send me an invite. I don't play any other games online, so my friends list is wide open for Trials Evo only purposes.

I agree but even if it is say a limit set by MS on live why not allow us to create groups via a website. I am sure they could push the times to a website like many other games do.

Might actually prefer this to in game.

I ended up getting this having never played much of Trials HD. I find the controls a tad too sensitive and not very good IMO (I can't tell you how many times the bike wlll just flip forward or backward wthout any gas or maneuvering whatsoever and causes me to crash). The only exposure I've had to this type of game is Joe Danger, which isn't very realistic but more fun for me.

Still, the amount of content/features for this game makes up for it. I'm trying to play through Trials HD before I get started on this.

One of the first things I noticed after playing Trials Evolution was how loose and lightweight the rider felt compared to Trials HD. Glad I'm not the only one who noticed this change. I'm still trying to figure out which I like more.

Goddamn Gigatrack is so loooong. I'm not looking forward to having to Gold that one. Although I'm going through Medium getting golds and I'm almost up to Mind Bender and Trials of Limbo... not looking forward to either of them!

I just finished Gigatrack (well I skipped ahead to it), it's probably my favorite Trials track so far. It's long but not long and aggravating. It's more fun than difficult. Once I start hitting the 15 minute + 250 fault tracks (like expert HD tracks) I'll go aggravated, but Giga was just cool for me. I didn't realize it was 10 mins. until I finished it. It has a lot of climbing and flying, which I always enjoy.

Is it possible for an "in the ball" or climbing mini-game, like in HD, to be made with the creator? I kind of wish they had just brought the modes from the 1st game over as well. At least put them on track central. I love in the ball and climbing.

I hate your scores. Tried to beat them, but we got the same rivalry as in Trials HD. Sometimes you end up high, and sometimes I am ripping your scores apart.

What an amazing game.

Heh I havent even been focusing on scores... ;)

Also just a reminder, I have created my first map called Bumpy Tunnel. It's a mix between a speedtrack with a few nice jumps and a bit of a climbing section. Pretty fun if I do say so myself! Feel free to download it from Track Central ^_^.

I know there's the obvious homages but have Redlynx come out and said this track is based on Team Ico games?

This one REALLY looks like Ico.

I just played a custom in a ball, in top rated tracks so yep, very much possible :)

Medium difficulty tracks are kicking my ass :(

Fuck you, track with the highway bridge breaking down as you drive across it. The one right before the Titan level IIRC.

apologies if this has been mentioned before but for some reason my progress has been wiped. i still have all my cash and my medals, but all the levels i've completed have to be done again. any idea why?

I believe they are aware of similar issues, and are working on those and many more. Sorry to hear man. To be safe you should post on their official forums, just to do what you can to make them aware.

Silver so yeah this game rocks. Mp is borked anyway right?

Not at all, at least private games. I was playing with someone on the east coast for a free hours. It's pretty awesome to see a ghost struggling with the same obstacle for 2 minutes. If you see me on, hop into the party.

seems all i had to do was complete the 'd license' & everything else returned, which is good. i should inform them regardless.

Someone beat your time, and no, unfortunately it wasn't me (I'm currently #5, 0.166 seconds behind MMaRsu).

A couple of friendly pointers to MMARsu (for when he makes new tracks):

- Be more liberal with checkpoints, as it's always annoying to redo large parts of the track again (especially true when you are learning the track)
- Some of the obstacles towards the end are more difficult than the Easy difficulty you gave the track. The track difficulty should reflect the most difficult obstacles in the track. Basically, going for an "Easy" track? Don't make any obstacles that are harder than "Easy" then.

That out of the way, keep'em coming. :)
