Awesome, glad to see the CHIKARA guys will be at the ROH 10th Anniversary iPPV, I still need to see the Briscoes vs Jigsaw/Hallowicked match from The Homecoming though.

Haven't got anything for the indies (where's Bootay when you need him?) but that's pretty much it. Struggling with titles. There seems to be a split between those who want something simple and, um, Rock related and those that want a joke about wrist notes.

Having watched Rock's promo again, I will admit he was a little off his game. I wonder if it was kinda planned to be that way. If Vince asked him to let Cena get in on him. Its very interesting.

I am actually wondering where this is going to go. How many more Raw's will Rock be on before WM?

If the WWE wants the WM crowd to be 50/50 they are fooling themselves. It also means we can look forward to 4 more weeks of The Rock looking bad, and acting a fool.

WM crowds are so weird/good sometimes, I have no idea what the reaction will be. My guess is that it will be 80/20 Rock. But who knows.

I thought Hogan would be killed at WM 18. I shed a tear when he wasn't.
 
I sincerely doubt the WWE are expecting Cena to get 50% of the crowd's support at WrestleMania. I have as much evidence as those that claim they are - i.e. none. Yes, shockingly, the WWE has tried to put John Cena over as a face in this feud, which is a first - however, I'd imagine they're still hanging on to some semblance of humanity. It's very shocking that The Rock hasn't reduced Cena to tears and had him suck his cock on live television, yes, but let's not freak out.

I expect to hear lots of stories after WrestleMania about how Vince - completely nude, with long hair, unshaven, surrounded by used tissues - had his face drop after he realised that John Cena was somehow booed in The Rock's hometown though.
 
Having Cena as the face and Rock as the heel, the guy little jimmies will still care for but "real" wrestling fans will dislike because he doesn't care about the industry and is only back for himself, is pretty much the best way to go about it.

This 50/50 stuff is garbage. If they wanted that kind of reaction they wouldn't have had the show in Miami.
 
Doing normal heel and face stuff is overplayed. Sometimes you want two faces.

Making one look like a blubbering idiot is just insulting to both.

Having them own eachother on the mic other back and forth makes sense to be honest, but watering one down too much is lame.

Edit: Punk/Jericho seemed like a good balance to strive for, but I don't know if Jericho is a heel or gimmick right now because I only saw him Monday night.

Fostering Vinny Mac delusions and trying to manipulate crowd response is Job #1 and Job #2 for WWE brass. Creating compelling storylines and building talent are all secondary to these objectives.

They can't turn Rock heel because that would embolden his fans to support him that much more. Just like how Canada rallied around Bret when he turned heel.

They just need to make Dwayne seem like more of an out-of-touch loser who is out of his depth and element against Cena. Tapping into the suck that is Mike Mizanin for the next month and injecting it straight into Dwayne's veins is really what they need to do to get the 50/50 response they crave in Rocky's hometown.

I think when you get to the match, and see them standing face to face in the middle of the ring about to exchange blows, you will change your mind. I think the crowd will make this match, and suck everyone in. Also this is a case where we really don't know who is going to win.

Sure, a face vs face feud can work, but there needs to be a better reason for it than "Cena badmouthed me, so I'm back (via satellite)!". Competition over a title, for instance. Or personal competition - perhaps Cena, who has accomplished so much, couldn't consider himself a true great until he'd beaten The Rock?

Whatever, all I know is that pretty much nothing about this feud has me on the edge of my seat.

Jericho is a heel gimmick from what I can tell. He accused Ziggler of stealing "having woman manager" and Kofi of stealing "springboard", so I'm near positive that the "Chris Jericho invented wrestling" delusional self-important veteran is what he's going for.
It's also been an amusing (unintentional) parody of what the Rock/Cena are doing.

Calling it right now that Rock gets the upperhand on Cena in two weeks or whenever he makes his next appearance.

EDIT: With Rhodes/Show now happening, where are they going to fit two Ziggler matches?

Im getting annoyed real fast with the "best at everything I do" its stupid. It should be about who the best wrestler is not best in the world VS. best at everything I do.

I hate that. As usual the WWE writers and Vince have found a way to kill another return.
 
The Rock/Cena rivalry is going just fine. Everyone needs to just chill.
Plus, it's not like they will beat the real attraction of Wrestlemania...

Briscoes picture because #DemBoys are hilarious (although the certain element at the ROH shows that goes wild for Confederate flag-toting redneck aspect of them is a bit... unsettling at times)
