There is no way that those letters were written. Someone said earlier in this thread, and I agree with them, that there are probably staffers scrambling to write those letters right now.

This reads like pure conspiracy theory... but it's actually all true, and happening like almost every fucking day. How the fuck does the Nation's psyche handle 3 or 7 more years of this shit? A huge portion of the right wing voting population is gonna be totally off the deep end in right wing conspiracies and alternate history lines. It's gonna suck.

Holding Trumps feet to the fire and calling him a liar doesn’t seem to work on him. He’s so wrapped up in his own reality and deflects everything to his sycophants who protect him. People need to need to change their tactics and start playing his game a bit. He says his generals told him Obama and other presidents didn’t contact fallen soldiers families? Fine, ok, then start questioning these generals why they are telling Trump this, starting with Kelly. Start putting his people he is using as a shield on the spot and holding them responsible. Start forcing these people to either call Trump on his bullshit or take the hit on their own character till they buckle.

The only President in modern times I would consider as "gross" a human would be Nixon. I'd probably be very skeeved if I met him, though at least he'd probably be witty and have some good stories.

Trump literally has no charm, no wit, and no class. Dude is a walking talking pile of garbage.

So Trump is basically trying to shield himself from that criticism? Some in the thread (and the tweets) are acting as if Trump is saying Obama and others never called soldiers which falls in line with his dumb statements but is just a little far fetched. Stories like this are just another way for Bush and other war Hawks to get away with everything they have done. It gets us to talk about "respecting" the office and our military and other stuff that is basically bullshit.

Cheney doesn’t meet that threshold, however.
