Trump rally in North Carolina

I'm not watching, but if it's anything like his recent Florida rally, he's up there pouting and fuming. No talk of policy, no words of inspiration, nothing to inspire any confidence that he's the right person for the job. Just a semi-incoherrent stream of rants and accusations - "this is rigged. This election is being stolen from you. It's nothing I've done. No, it's Hillary and her shadowy coalition of 'globalists' and elitists. Not real Americans like you."

He's sowing seeds of discontent and providing plenty of shit to fertilize them. Mark my words, he's not conceding in November. He'll litigate and instigate and drag this sorry election well into next year.

No, you are posting on a public forum and I have every right to reply to you and tell you that the idea is both nonsense and borderline toxic to the narrative of Donald Trump.

MY comments are toxic and nonsensical? You're aware they're a prognostication based on a bigoted demagogue's racist, sexist and offensive candidacy that has defied the rational explanation of political pundits around the world, right? And by the way, has there been such an unrelenting stream of alternative takes on just what Trump has in mind for himself and his business dealings that you're at a breaking point?

Having said that, I will walk from our back and forth. I remain skeptical that Trump wants to win the election. He repeatedly does things that would traditionally be described as the tanking of one's campaign, and his supporters love it.

his rallies are basically just horrible stand up comedy acts. i think there's something really soul-destroying about the way he encourages these huge crowds to laugh at a woman who was sexually assaulted because he thinks she's ugly....and then he gets the laugh. like he encouraged ppl to laugh at the way a disabled reporter moves....and they all did. it's all theatre to him. a deeply revolting man on any level.

It's nonsense, because the idea that Trump doesn't want to win is just that, nonsense. There's absolutely no proof to this, there's no real reasoning behind it when you look at the steps he's taken this election, it's a narrative that's shifted from Donald Trump being an unstoppable political force when he's on the upturn, to him never wanting to win because it's unfathomable that the unstoppable Donald Trump could not just win if he truly wanted to on the downturn. There's a lot of hidden narratives in this election, but the biggest one to me will be that of the incredible overestimation of Donald Trump.

And I would say it's toxic, yes, because it buys into Trump's bullshit that he's in someway elevated above everyone, that he's some kind of exceptional star among the sky, even if it's in a different way than what he is trying to sell. He's not, and he's not some screaming political revolutionary, he's a con man, he's a shyster, he's a cult of personality. He doesn't know what the fuck he's doing, and he never had since this all started, he was the right person, saying the right things, at the right time.

At this point, I'm more excited for his concession speech than Hillary's acceptance speech.

What does that even mean?

I think he's trying to infer that she didn't appear tough and intimidating like he thinks a (male) president should be. "She doesn't have the look," as hes said before.

However thanks to his horrible speaking skills and inability to read a situation, it comes off as him judging her looks sexually. Or that's exactly how he meant it, obviously he's capable of saying such vile shit.

What does that even mean?

He's commenting on her physical appearance. Basically saying her body, specifically her posterior, is unattractive to him. Probably a good thing for Hilary, otherwise he'd been forced to grab her by the....well you already know.

No...he doesn't.

NC is a toss-up at best and a variety of issues downballot (IE. gubernatorial race and the fate of House Bill 2) means that turnout if anything would probably support a slight Democratic lean.

Trump is going there (coming here, I'm in Charlotte) to play defense because it certainly looks like a state that Romney won in 2012 that he's about to lose.

And a Trump rally is going to attract Trump supporters which exist in every single state in the Union, not a problem unique to North Carolina or the South.

Good to hear, last I saw he was winning in NC and I am fully aware that sort of rally is not unique to the state or the South in general, as you said he has supporters all over and it was his rally, he just seems to speak there a lot lately, guess fighting to get more support if he might loose it.

He wont be giving a concession speech. Mike Pence is. He'll be the hyena cackling about rigged elections and being made fun of by everyone.

The polling average is +3 for Clinton in NC. Worth noting is that he's down in all of them.

Trump is specifically referring to Clinton's handling of diplomatic relations with Pakistan's Prime Minister Yousaf Raza Gillani. Trump believes that a firmer tone should have been used to encourage Gillani to more aggressively fight elements of corruption in Pakistan that allowed Al-Qaeda to operate in the border regions with Afghanistan. It was a very trenchant insight to a complex situation.
He was talking about her ass.

At this point why are we assuming the best intentions of Donald Trump?

I mean I get your argument if it were anybody else. But this is Donald "grab them by the pussy" Trump.

No, he meant he wasn't impressed with her figure. Sure way to get a laugh out of his supporters.

Pretty clear he's commenting on her physical appearance.

He is not a fan of his opponent's butt.

Presidential campaign talk.

It means that she would not be his first choice, duh

I'm getting so many different interpretations, I think Conway, Nell Hughes, Lewandowski, and McEnany should explain on live TV what he meant.
