Not only that, but the whole bring back manufacturing thing is ridiculous. How in the hell does he propose they bring back iPhone manufacturing to the US? In terms of value added trade the US takes a bigger share of the iPhone manufacturing and assembly process than China. The stuff that goes on at the Foxconn factory is bottom run assembling. Japan, South Korea and Germany all have a dollar share of the iPhones manufacturing. Onshoring the Foxconn jobs would barely make a dent in US trade deficits.
