I'm skeptical that this was a real picture and you are either misremembering it or it was a doctored photograph. My google-fu can't find anything like it on the Internet.

I hate the whole “Trump has made everyone a constitutional scholar” thing, but according to a straightforward reading of this, I don’t see how he hasn’t violated it multiple times in the past week. Especially with RTing things saying people should boycott the NFL. Like, what if the president went on TV and said American citizens should boycott Apple, or Walmart, or Coca-Cola? Regardless of how you feel about those companies, that just seems unconscionable to me.

You NEED to understand this is a thing. If you want proof, just look at the last election. Things are different from 10, 20, 30, 40+ years ago. Adapt to give those people an answer, to get them to support you, or you're not getting anywhere, again.

Calling these people ignorant or racists just because they don't agree with one heavily leaned side's view is not going to win you favor. Instead, it's going to embolden one side, and cause resentment with the middle ground. Like it or not, that's the cold hard truth.

Those people in the last election were ignorant/racist, helped along by the vast propaganda machine working through facebook/twitter. Couldn't tell you how many not-quite-MAGAs were convinced that Hillary issued a statement about how she would take away all guns during the campaign.

Following the Jacksonville coverage (and the display of unity from the top down there was great to see) there seems to be as much variety in responses from vets as there is in the general population. The division is pretty much what you'd expect - Trump supporters are horribly against it, others say they fought for the right to protest freely.

Got to say, it's great to see so many people speaking up against the "I'm burning my season tickets and you should too" crowd, and doubly great when those people have military backgrounds and can speak directly against the lie that this sort of protest is disrespectful to the military.
