Telling white people to get to the back of the line, attacking white people for being white, not letting white people participate in your protest, etc. is not progress. The message is getting lost is my point. It's flat out segregating yourself which defeats the purpose. How can you not see that? How is that ok with you?
I think you're missing the point. The movement exists because the police act like Black lives DON'T matter equally.
Whether you think all lives are equal is missing the point.
Those are not ok IMO. But they are isolated incidents as far as I know. They are not the motto or the defacto behavior of the movement at large.

It is and always will be the duty of Americans to help those for whom the system of government and economy simply does not work.
I'm a teacher of third grade students and I tell them every day how far we have come, but that there is still much racism in the world. I've never once had a black student who didn't already know that. Not because of some victim complex, but because it's true.
So your Youtube videos aren't showing anything but angry people who should by all rights be angry.

The implication of Black Lives Matter isn't that all lives don't matter, or that non-black lives don't matter. It's that in the eyes of police, black lives in particular don't matter and that needs to change.
You are singling out negative events and acting like that's representative of the movement and the people who support it when it simply is not.
The vast majority of BLM activists and supporters don't support this and they don't support attacks on police officers.

The arguable behavior of one social movement does not justify the problematic existence of another.
Although, ALM isn't even a movement. There are no mission statements, no marches, no figureheads or practitioners and the resulting interviews, nor any websites or other sources of information detailing what they even plan on doing to uphold the moniker in the real world. What are they doing about the death penalty, abortion, hunger, homelessness, disease, Syria, the meditation crisis in China or the concentration camps in North Korea, religious extremsis in across Africa, animal welfare and the coral crisis (animals and coral count as life too)?
Nothing. Absolutely nothing.
ALM has had no discernible impact on any kind of current issue concerning "life" that you could imagine, much less the deadly primary and secondary effects of racism on minorities in the United States. It is a disingenuous, dishonest way to undermine not only BLM, but the existence of black people in general.
No. I'm talking about the BLM protestors that do not understand the message and take to the streets to shoot at random white people due to the color of their skin. Black Lives Matter is not trying to run for president. They are a large organization of people who say and do things you may or may not agree with, but come November, they won't change anything about anyone's life for worse.

That's really not what the comic is saying. The comic is pointing out the fallacy in insisting that "all lives matter" while willfully ignoring the very reasons why Black Lives Matter was coined in the first place. It's a feeble attempt at diffusing the point and engaging in whataboutism. All Lives Matter was conceived as and is used as a DIRECT rebuttal to Black Lives Matter. It's incredibly obvious that All Lives Matter does not, in fact, take into account the plight of black lives living in poverty and kept there by systematic racism, it's a platitude meant to divert attention from that very fact.
Do you really want engage in a list war? Do you want to compare this to the amount of times a black person has been shot and killed by a police officer on the streets? Because you already know you'd lose that contest.

White people are far more dangerous to others especially with guns than "Muslims" or Muslim looking people will ever be and yet it's not the White people like myself that get profiled. Imagine that.
