Yeah i've been wondering about this. This year is the first time since like 2017 that they haven't done an August Indie World. Usually they do April, August, and December. I assume this one replaces the usual December one. I wonder if the timing was changed due to a major announcement, or if they just didn't have enough to show in August?

Either way, excited for this! Everyone always predicts Silksong, Sports Story, etc. But bear in mind they typically do not repeat games in Indie Worlds. They normally only announce brand new games, and not give updates on previously-announced ones. It happens, but it's rare, and not really the point of why they do these.

Me too but my hope for that one is fading... I looked back on Sidebar Games Twitter, June 7 2021 they said everything is coming together and would have many updates going forward. They posted two screenshots in June, then nothing for six months. On Dec. 24 2021 they posted a new screenshot for Christmas and noted that work is ongoing. That was the last update on the game, 10.5 months ago.
