4)He loses his powers because he's the best and does so to stop Rita getting them
5)He fights Goldar without powers and beat him
6)Zordon almost kills himself to give Tommy back his powers
7)Deus Ex Machina gives Tommy his powers back while he's saving everyone
8)The show spends an entire arc about Tommy slowing losing his powers with everybody being sad
9)Tommy loses his powers but then Zordon brings him back as the most powerful Ranger and the new leader
10)He gets an even better personal weapon and zord
11)He gets Kimberly

I read an interview. They said Saban pretty thought their idea of good payment was having a good food spread.
