I don't think it would have. This is a show that was basically made from scraps and did so well. It shouldn't take that much to replace everybody. As a kid, yeah the swap disappointed me, but I got over it. I didn't understood why the swap happened back then nor did I questioned it. I bet as a kid I would have reacted the same to everybody being replaced.
As a kid I was heart broken when Zack/Trini/Jason left the show but I did grow to like their replacements... well except for Rocky. However what really made me stop watching the series was when Kimberly left and she broke up with Tommy via a letter a few(?) episodes later, that shit hurt my heart as a kid XD
I always figured he was one of those yes man types just happy to be on a show as big as that and be the leader lol.

I think he used it to his advantage eventually, hes still really popular. I think he really just enjoyed the role and having kids look up to him.
Yea I didn't hate the replacements for them. I had no opinion of Rocky one way or the other. Adam was cool, and Aisha was there. She didn't even stay long herself.
I didn't hate Kat, but she was no Kimberly at all. I pretty much stopped watching during Turbo. When Tommy left.
I mean can you really blame him?

Real talk, the first half of In Space is Mighty Morphin tierHope you stick around for In Space. It is basically the swan song for the Zordon Era.

Because its awesomeWhy do they still have the "Go Green Ranger Go" theme for him lol

Born in 93Man, I was down with Power Rangers for the long haul, I didn't stop watching until they got to SPD. There was something about the Dog Commander that was too cheesy for me as I was reaching my tween years.
I eventually relented & came back to watch Mystic Force when it aired on Disney Channel though. They played a marathon one day & I ended sitting down and watching it for hours.
Same. I got through Beast Force - oh god that was bad - and Mystic Force was my last one but I really enjoyed it.Man, I was down with Power Rangers for the long haul, I didn't stop watching until they got to SPD. I eventually found out Tommy showed back up in Dino Thunder and watched some of that, really liked the episode where they go over the history of the rangers (and it was nice seeing some of the stuff I had missed in between anything) and how it turned Tommy into this outright Legendary warrior, it was a nice touch. His return scene is pretty badass in its own right as well.Man, I was down with Power Rangers for the long haul, I didn't stop watching until they got to SPD. we are reaching critical magnet based pun levels here .
why is there no pole in here to see how positively or negatively we all feel about power rangers?
No one has ever liked kid characters in kids shows. Kids don't wanna see kids, they wanna see kung fu adults.I remember not liking In Space AT ALL when it started but it eventually grew to be one of my favorite seasons alongside Lost Galaxy. I was happy as hell they left the little kid from Turbo behind though, even as a fellow kid I hated the hell out of that character.
Mystic Force is pretty niceMystic Force any good? Was basically in the same position as you regarding SPD.
