These episodes filling in Jason, Zack and Trini with doubles are why I can't like Season 2 more than Season 1.

Nothing about this transition was proper.

It's all kinds of bad. I can only image how pissed they had to be that their voices were still being used as well. At the time I never understood why there was that scene in the opening with just Tommy, Kimberly and Billy morphing until much later. It's all stock footage right? Or do they actually appear during the transfer of power? If so I assume that was filmed earlier and likely for something else. I mean we don't see those three ever interacting with the replacements right?
