Zeo tanked in ratings. Turbo stayed in the tank, Passing the Torch was the highest rated episode of the season and that bump pushed them for awhile before settling to where it was before.

Space saved everything.

Tommy and the rest were no magic bullet, outside of nostalgia.

I can't tell who is worse between TJ and Rocky.

They did, the ratings tanked during Zeo and stabilized during Turbo, it helped saving the franchise and was the reason Space was even planned as a big finale that wouldn't have happened if the ratings had continued to detoriate, they simply would have pulled the plug after Turbo, it would have been easy to do a "Divatox defeated, the end" finale.

And Space wasn't even the final season for long, due to the ratings improving it was decided to continue the franchise pretty early, so Countdown to Destruction was never intended to be the series finale, they started filming Lost Galaxy right after they finished in Space, the second half of Space and the first half of Lost Galaxy are actually the same production season, there was no substantial break between them.

No question it's Justin. Rocky was the original lovable, bumbling, jokester of the Rangers. Since he became that it's like all the seasons tried to have someone similar to him such as Max and Bridge and etc. Rocky's got a personality. Once they let him be who he is he flourished. Justin's just trash. Notice how they didn't have any little kid be a Ranger once this little shit was gone.
