There's something truly poetic about this whole thing. The fact that wandering around aimlessly in caves and grass, due to the thousands of button inputs, has leveled up our pokemon enough to be able to survive the endless growls and useless attacks during gym battles due to the thousands of button inputs. It's beautiful

It's kind of funny how survival of the fittest plays out.

The pokemon that's best equipped to win, wins more battles, which make it get more exp and levels, to win more battles, reinforcing itself.

Being caught earlier definitely has an effect...but Pidgeot has left Charmeleon in the dust.

Funny how that works out. The best Pokemon chooses itself.

Well that, plus changing the order in which they are sent out is nearly impossible to do purposefully. lol

Rocket Hideout -> Pokemon Tower -> Silph Co -> Saffron Gym seems like a good plan. No need to run off to Fuschia since we'd just have to come back. Fighting Dojo would be worth it if we can deposit another Pokemon but it's not required.

Trying to remember how long an ordinary new player would take to get this far. 25ish hours?

You mean to the 4th Gym? I'd say even less than that, more like 18/20 hours.

Edit: And that's taking into account the fact that they would spend more time in the grass chasing Pokemon
