DigRat is the essence of anarchy. He has no power under democracy. That and Eevee is entirely anarchy's doing, from start to finish.
The false dichotomy put forth by the anarchists is the saddest thing. Anarchy is the cause of all things, both good and bad, aside from getting through the maze.
Democracy's sole contribution was salvation from hell. It is a tool, a mighty voice of the many, to lead us forward in a time of dire need.

No, Flareon was released during anarchy.
I'd pin that on word of mouth spreading sufficiently as opposed to the introduction of democracy.

I don't understand, what differences has it made? This is whatever the person who is streaming intends it to be, not what we make of it. If anything we should have been expecting the unexpected for the past 6 days. Everything has been unexpected so far.

Is it just me or have they completely lost the ability to progress at all?
For the first ~3 days or so, movement obviously wasn't perfect, but the general "direction" was. However, since arriving in Celdaon, it seems like Red simply walks around aimlessly. I mean, we've been walking around Celadon for the past 30 minutes and haven't even come close to entering the casino.

It's now impossible to connect to twitch chat so the swarm is a little lean right now, commands are noisier than ever with a smaller total number of people coaxing Red in the right direction.
The growth is likely natural due to new stories being put out daily at larger and larger news outlets.
Not to mention, I believe the nature of this is many people check it out for a long time, get bored, and as soon as something noteworthy occurs (such as the current anarchy/democracy debate, or, previously, some major was accomplished [hint: accomplishments are no longer noteworthy with democracy]) everyone jumps back in all at the same time to check it out, further increasing viewers.
Anyways, this is boring now. There are no more major accomplishments. Every time we hit an obstacle, democracy will overcome it. 90% of people are also wasting inputs on voting for one system over the other constantly.
There's really no point to having anarchy available with democracy an option.

I've arrived here as well. I feel like with all the meddling all the novelty of this has been removed. I didn't think the point was to try to finish but see if it was possible.

That is still one of the most co-ordinated things I've seen twitch do in this game.

LORD HELIX sent us Saint Drowzee to seal him until the prophecy could be fulfilled. That sacrifice allowed the brave warrior to vanquish darkness forevermore, and Saint Drowzee returned to the fold, blessed eternal.

Yep. I'm actually a little disappointed we released it for that reason.
I'm also disappointed because, you know, WE NEED TO KILL GHOSTS.
At one point during the run, both Drowzee and Flareon were deposited in the box while trying to rescue the Helix Fossil. This earned Drowzee the nickname "The Keeper", as he kept Flareon sealed away within Bill's PC.
When the time came, Red returned and banished Flareon while saving Drowzee from the same feat. Later on, all of the Key Items were rescued from the PC as well.
With an open slot now available for Lapras and all items returned, the Age of Flareon came to an end.
I love the meta-narrative.
And if we had democracy from the start we'd have already beaten the game without much fanfare surrounding this entire concept, and zero memes/major events such as Helix Fossil and the releasing of pokemon/tossing of items.
