I wonder if this is "the Head Mod of /V/" at it again. It's almost like a Joker has entered the fray. The whole thing, while horrible, has been oddly fascinating in the amount of plot twists that keep coming.

Like what? The only thing I've seen suggesting this is forum posts with no proof or facts in sight.
So essentially /v/ donated to a pro-women cause to get back at a woman they hate?
It was a page that had existed for a long time without anyone caring about it.
When the Quinnspiracy drama blew up someone made a post on reddit claiming that Zoe shut them down (without any proof).
4chan and reddit apparently believed it (maybe because it fits their image of Zoe being evil), and /v/ donated more than $5k to their campaign.
That received a bit of attention and now the campaign is hacked.

But I thought 4chan hated women? why would a "cathedral of misogyny" donate to a fundraiser about helping female game devs? It just doesn't make sense.
Some people would probably prefer if the narrative continued to portray them as such.

How many sides are there to this conflict?
Why not? It's a pretty decentralized community. My best guess would be 3, possibly 4.
1) Zoe Quinn.
2) /v/.
3) Whoever hacked Phil Fish.
4) Whoever hacked the TYFC indiegogo campaign.
People were thinking that 2 was the cause of 3, but there's no way that 2 was the cause of 4. So either 2 wasn't the cause of 3 at all and 3 & 4 are the same group, or 2 was the cause of 3 and 4 is a different party.
I do wonder how many people are going to continue taking the "moral high ground", pretending like they don't absolutely love watching this chaotic trainwreck play out in delicious slow mo.
Really? Because I've seen a multitude of tweets from both journalists and developers that would definitely suggest some coziness between the two. If you don't see how that's problematic, I really don't know what to say.
I also don't understand how people can assume that every image /v/ ever compiles is somehow a "desperate crusade" or something when a lot of them are simply pointing out direct statements from journalists/developers on various websites (see: the whole issue surrounding Patricia Hernandez). To be frank, I'm finding it increasingly unlikely that the SJ crowd is somehow blameless in all of this and I think a lot of people are in denial about it.
Yeah there's a good chance a third party is just fucking with everyone here. No real ideology behind any of it, just a thirst for drama.

So please by all means post th evidence of this.
People on the sidelines have been asking over and over for 3 threadnaughts for actual evidence of this and yet nothing has shown up.
And something that isn't the same discredited picture that keeps getting reposted.
How is Zoe Quinn involved with The Sony Agenda? What is her connection to Dutch merchants? Is she Suge Knight's shooter? Mister X Media will uncover the truth!

I think...this helps? Thanks, anyway.
Could there be a rogue clan of /v/ that actually wants to do good things?

We are talking about hundreds of thousand unique posters per day for /v/ alone. Just a 1000 wanting to donate adds up
So please by all means post th evidence of this.
So has anyone actually reported on this yet? Seems like an easy story.
They had no interest in covering it before, why would they bother reporting on it now?So has anyone actually reported on this yet? Seems like an easy story.
You mean the tweets, like the whole thing with Hernandez? They're constantly being posted all over /v/. I'm not your lapdog, leave your isolated little bubble and you'll find them.
Edit: Also, most of /v/ fully acknowledged that the Cloudshare image you're talking about wasn't a very credible one. Actually, quite a few anons debunked it shortly after it was first posted.

Nope. Which is very strange since all the major gaming outlets reported on Polytron being hacked the other day. I hate sounding like a conspiracy theorist but this whole thing is weirding me out.

Else you are exactly like all of the other posters that have been banned for continuing this bullshit.
Or maybe Zoe Quinn and Polytron were simply more widely known than TFYC, which many people hadn't even heard of until they were brought up in the Quinnspiracy allegations. (Yes, I realize many also hadn't heard of Quinn herself, but we're talking about different orders of magnitude here.)
At the moment I don't really know what to make of TFYC. At face value they seem to have a good cause, but having a self-proclaimed "anti-SJW" movement choose them as their champion gives me pause.
Sure, I mean it's not like there's a central thread on /v/ right now that covers everything you would ever need on this topic because the moderators don't want the discussion to be spammed.
It takes all of two minutes to locate exactly what I'm referring to, so no, I'm not digging all of this up for you when you can see it for yourself directly in significantly less time. Cry me a river.
4chan is definitely using them as a "Hey, we're not assholes, we care about women in games too!" and the organizers are riding the wave to help get funded.
What that means for your opinion of the whole thing is up to you.
They had no interest in covering it before, why would they bother reporting on it now?
Look at this thread. The fact that 4chan supports them apparently means they're guilty by association. Most media outlets won't touch this story now for the same reason they wouldn't touch it before, it's too close to the Quinnspiracy.indiegogo getting hacked seems like a worthy story in and of itself.
So has anyone actually reported on this yet? Seems like an easy story.
Amusingly, you skipped over the one the poster was referring to in regards to Patrica Hernandez: http://i.imgur.com/eEtluke.png That's alright though, people have been sending it to Stephen Totilo via Twitter and he swears he's going to look into it.I looked up this central thread, and here's some of the so-called "proof"

it's literally an anime version of dodgerI really like vivian james design. Good job /v/!
I remember that post, people called him out on his bullshit. Don't try to say that sort of craziness is what every /v/ user believes.I looked up this central thread, and here's some of the so-called "proof" ,

TL;DR:
Nathan Grayson is apparently shilling for Robin Arnott. Leigh Alexander is apparently shilling for Anna Anthropy and her girlfriend Daphny and they're conspiring against Jim Sterling? What?
I have no idea who any of these people are. That's solid proof right there and not just absolute garbage scribbled together that's grasping at straws.
INDIE DEVS NEPOTISM BLAAAARGH, like holy shit, aren't there any other things you'd want fixed in the game industry? JUST that apparently these 4 people have written articles that mentioned eachother?
On the other hand I did find this classy post which really convinced me of Zoe's evil ways.

This is surely the biggest scandal in videogames history that needs to be shouted from the rooftops for days on end.
