Is he actually more muscular though, or just leaner? I mean, he never had to make weight in pro wrestling--only had to be popular. He has no choice unless he wants to get his ass beat by a middleweight instead.
He's also never been paid millions of dollars to be locked in a cage and fight someone...or been trained by people who do that for a living...I don't really think it's that crazy to imagine he looks like that naturally.

Anytime a professional athlete gets into the best shape of their life in their late 30's, I get a little skeptical. The guy had a dad bod for his entire wrestling career, and now he's a physical specimen at 38 years old? Idk

eh...if your life had been spent with an alcoholic father, and brother who stole thousands and a mother who called you up trying to extort money on threats that she'd kill herself and you had to get a restraining order on them its kind of given that the dude has an all about me and screw everyone else attitude. Everyone who he ever let himself care about has tried to ruin him.
For the record though, I'm not defending Punk. He got famous in my opinion for being the first guy with the gift of gab lucky enough to become the man who got to call out the WWE as an angle for all the shit smarks have gone on about for years. Any talker allowed to run that angle would be a legend with hero power over folks. He's good in a match, but never the best in the world IMO. His entire bit now is to talk down on everyone else and respond with how everyone is beneath him. Using that attitude after ducking fights for so long he's a running gag in MMA doesn't jive well. Best guy to call out WWE and he's forever a symbol against bad WWE stuff, but never really more than above average. Even in the indies his best gift was his ability to talk and sell.
I fully believe Punk will get destroyed out there now that its about prowess. You can't belittle someone till your so over you get a win in MMA. You either win or lose. Punk will likely drop in seconds unless he runs.
