That odd omissions already been pointed out along with a lack of JRPGs. I'd almost say this has been overly West-centric, but then we just had Shadow of the Colossus.

A Half-Life/Counter-Strike nod would have been awesome, and justifiable because of mods.

It's online community has made for quite the impact.
