you can tell it didn't have a big budget, mostly due to the clear need to squeeze as much gameplay out of any given environment as possible...

As far as Yakumo having more time than Ryu is concerned:
Not gonna be a doom poster here, as there’s simply not enough information to draw conclusions. We don’t know what percentage/split there will be between Yakumo and Ryu, but per Team Ninja’s *own* words, Ryu will play a pivotal role in the story, and it’s clear that they’re paying major respect to him, his legacy, and his character and abilities per the little bit of footage we have thus far.
This could easily be a DMC4 or DMC5 situation where Nero is the main character, but Dante is still VERY much a major player, and drives the story in many ways. Plus, if they allow you to run through the game as either character via Chapter Challenge as well, then this won’t be an issue.
Plus… This was transcribed via Google translate. I tend to not put much stock in it myself. Too many things are left up to interpretation, and can easily be taken out of context. I’m personally going to wait for more concise info about the overarching narrative to come out before making a judgement call.
I just can’t believe that Ninja Gaiden 4 is here, alongside a current gen only NG2 remaster, and a 2D side scroller.
