This is really really bad. This is a massive step backwards for this country, and not just because the regressive party is about to take power. I had my hopes up that a swing to the lib dems would pressure parties to adopt their policies and show clearly how broken FPTP is. It hasn't happened. FML.

Hey UKGAF as a moderate liberal living in America that agrees with most of Obama's policies, who should I be rooting for?

That Sunderland swing is a bit ominous.

Seriously. A conservative majority isn't out of the realms of possibility with these kind of figures being thrown around.

I have never watched him before, but Jeremy Paxman makes me want to throw a shoe at him.

Let's pretend these polls are real...CONCEDE! C'MON! DO IT!

I am switching stations too much...

I was going from 517 (Sky News HD) to 501 (Sky News) to 143 (BBC HD) to 135 (Channel 4) and checking out 520 (Discovery HD) just for fun, and somehow ended on 908 (Babestation)

Still, Sophie Raworth is the best looking girl I saw all night

Despite all the hubub recently, it's still a two party system. No doubt some potential Lib Dem's voted tactically, as has already been mentioned in this thread. Then again we'll see how things turn out, could be a totally different result then what anyone expects.

Don't let the door hit you on the way out guys! Seriously, you're beginning to sound like fanatics with these kind of comments; didn't Glenn Beck or some other firebrand make just such a statement before Obama's victory?

Anyone not fearing a Tory government is fucking mental.

In other parts of the country, polling stations are being kept open longer than expected to allow more to vote. This in contrast to hundreds of people being rejected in other polling stations because they were closed.

Not going to end well

If RichGAF isn't too busy voting Tory, maybe they'd provide us with a private jet.

The sunderland vote swing is off due to it being a area with a changed boundary. It's also a new MP and a very safe labour seat. The national swing will probably be less.
