Little poll on the website of Belgian's VRT (similar to BBC for UK):
Who would you vote for in the Uk if you had the chance:

Gordon Brown - 266 (13%)
David Cameron - 332 (17%)
Nick Clegg - 1386 (70%)
From the few people I talked to who know about the UK election, I saw most of them rooting for the LibDems.

Fun fact: 1984 people voted up till now. It's an omen.

Loads of reports of people not being able to vote because they couldn't get in before 10pm. Not just the BBC saying this, I think it's on the wires.

Sunderland results beginning to come in.
Guess 15 hours just isn't enough(!)

Thanks for the replies. All makes sense.

The other commentator said that reform would be necessary if this vote panned out per the exit poll...she described it as 'a very unjust result'. I presume there might be strong enough agreement to get vote reform through if it did pan out.

(The idea of the lib dems losing seats seems crazy).

Also: thank god for C-SPAN. It's my only medium to follow British politics now, and has been my main medium to follow American politics. <3
