In a majority, the Cons would not destroy, but regress. Here are some of my fears from the top of my head.

• As mentioned earlier in this thread, the Tories have an appalling history on gay rights voting.
• The Tories' economy-fixing cuts will not effect the wealthiest of the country, only public services.
• The Tories will likely reinstate fox hunting.
• The Tories will likely move against voting reform.

Basically, the Tory manifesto seems based on the 1832 principle of "reform so you may preserve." At best.

1- maybe so, but that does not mean the current Tories are necessariy the same, and furthermore, do you expect them to repeal previous gay rights laws? The great majority of gay rights abuses have been rectified and as such i cannot see why there is such concern.
2 - Evidence? In any case, every party would need to make huge cuts to public services.
3- Once again, i ask you for evidence
4 - that i cannot argue with, but in the end will it destroy the country or have some other terrible effect if voting reform is not enacted in the next 5 years?
