If I want my transcript for my second year of uni, I have to bloody post to them a self addressed envelope with a stamp. Fuck knows what they did with the £3500 they got from me, nor the £20 each year in photocopying fees!
Transcripts are authenticated documents, hence the fee.

As someone who works in Exams, we do it do we're sure your address is correct, especially if they're sensitive documents like certificates. Students change addresses a lot, stuff is often sent to the wrong addresses if we're not careful.
Also, we know it pisses people off and you have to take your victories where you can

The digs I was staying at for the past year wants to charge me £65 for "blu tack stains", which apparently requires a total repaint of the wall I was hanging posters on. Well it's a Friday and the weekend is almost here. What are fellow UK gaffers going to do tonight?
I'm going to get stoned after work and watch something on my PC. Around midnight i will hop on gears of war PC and kick fucking ass.
Got a 10am - 2pm shift tomorrow (Yes i took a 4 hour shift on a Saturday) I only took the shift because i love seeing my bank balance go higher.)
After work tomorrow I'm going to go Glasgow hopefully and get drunk. If not a local drinking session then head to a local club.
