I think the best fireworks display I saw was when I was in Italy when I was a kid, and our village had their usual Summer festa. The fuckers over there do NOT mess around with fireworks. We were standing on a bridge watching the display and it shoock the bridge hard. We heard a few years later that they went utterly overboard with the fireworks to an extent they set off a pretty major forest fire..
