The landlord is indefensible. However, to be fair, I'm not sure what kind of person the tenant is either. I also found it amusing the tenant kept stating "I'll record this, beat your fucking ass, and then go to the police."

In the video you can hear the landlord ask about a dog and the tenant says its his gf's puppy. Not excusing the landlord, but the tenant is obviously a shit tenant.

I get that he said he was going to beat the guy's ass, but he was justifiably pissed off. He was also smart enough not to do it. Overall, I can't say I'd be any calmer. No idea on the dog thing, though. The landlord didn't explicitly shout over the tenant's accusations about him breaking the lease agreement, but then again he was also a crazy racist dude that went went from 0 to shitbag in none seconds flat. Also, he looks like a weird short former mad scientist.
If the tenant did violate the lease agreement by having the dog, I'm not sure on whether or not the landlord can enter to investigate if, for example, he heard barking. It still doesn't excuse shitty racist rants.
Edit: I heard the tenant say something along the lines of "You better quit f@king putting your f@king hands on me..." before any mention of beating asses.
