So I race home from work expecting some Rockets/Lakers goodness on my new digital cable box. On the channel that's "allegedly" NBA TV, I see the same looping League Pass preview I saw this morning. WTF?!?! I call up Comcast and they tell me I have to order League Pass to get NBA TV (OMGWTF?!?!) Fine, I decide to shell out the $169 but as I'm grabbing my debit card, she tells me tonight's game is blacked out and that happens regularly. At this point, I just say "nevermind" -_-

I'm like WTF, who pays for this shit? Or is the Comcast rep full of crap? :lol

*turns on internet audio of the game*

LeBron loves his girlfriend. There is no other woman in the world he’d rather have. The problem is, Dwyane’s not a woman.
Time Warner Cable > Comcast

I'm watching the game on NBA TV for free :)

Games are block out when you are living in the area of where the home team is playing because they have deals with other company(s), except a national broadcast (ABC, ESPN, TNT). For example, in NYC, the Knicks have a deal with Cablevision so they are always on their channel. NBATV is only good if your team plays in another area where you live. Since I like the Sixers, it's fine with me unless they are playing the damn Knicks.
