Still cross-gen.
what he means is it is still a title available for the current gen xbox, as well as its predecessor. Not exactly.

I get that the xbone version is substantially different and greater than the 360 version. what I was trying to say is that what strongblackvine means with "still cross-gen" is that forza horizon 2 is still a title available for both the current and last gen xboxes.“There are things we are doing in Forza Horizon 2 on Xbox One that honestly couldn’t be done on any other console… Rather than thinking of them as the same game on different platforms, they are different games inspired by the same ideas.”

Yes, we know.
We all know.Yes, we know.
If the game is delayed and does end up being 60fps, then I think it's possible that was the reason for the delay. Either way they're probably not going to give us the specific reason. That being said, if the final game is 30fps, then there was still something in the development process that was a big enough hinder that they knew they needed more time. It doesn't matter, all that matters is that they get the game to be as perfect as they want/can.Can't wait for the thread if the game ends up being 30 FPS. Because you'll know as much as I do that ND doesn't give a shit what Neogaf wants. I can bet my ass that the game wasn't delayed to please the people crying for 60 FPS. It may or may not happen and that's up to what ND thinks is best for their game.
Some threads for next year if game is 30 FPS:
"Uncharted delayed and ND still didn't get the game to 60 FPS"
"Why was UC4 delayed if they didn't make it 60 FPS"
etc
etc
How do you know they haven't been working on a collection for a while?
They had already been working on TLOU:R and Uncharted 4. Uncharted 4 was supposed to release this year.
Unless they were lying about a release date and were instead using resources to get an Uncharted collection for the holidays even though UC4 was already supposed to be in the holidays, I don't see them working on a collection.
why not?

This never happened when Amy was in charge.
I'll get my coat.
The more I think about this the more I am saddened. I was so hyped about getting a PS4 along with Uncharted 4 this fall, hell I would've picked up even MGS 5 with it even though I can max it on my PC, just to have something extra to play on the PS4.
It makes the wait even worse because if the game releases in like March or April, I would have to wait until E3 2016 to see if there's a hardware redesign. Oh man this complicates things so bad...
Bloodborne in two weeks bro.
And if you're not into that, I'm sure you have plenty of games to play on Steam in the meantime. Don't pressure yourself into spending money on more games you're not sure that you want when you already have some. They will wait.
Also Uncharted 3 happened when they last tried to force something out in 2 years.

ND said as recently as last fall there was still no plans for an HD collection.
It's possible that something changed since then, though I can't imagine they have the resources now that U4 is in full swing.
Most likely would go to a studio like Bluepoint
AND? That game was a masterpiece!
Trying to sweep the "aiming" issue under the rug, eh?
Not quite. Forza Horizon 2 is a great one as well.
And if we're talking console exclusives, X1 is just way ahead of PS4 at this point. I do understand that Sony doesn't need to try as hard due to the fact that their system is selling like hotcakes. However, I still want to buy a PS4 sometime later and this delay is not helping at all.
That game was a masterpiece!
I think the reason for delay is obvious... they don't have a game made.
I really don't understand that seemingly widespread narrative of Xbox exclusives being 'way ahead' of PS4 ones. Does that change now in two weeks with the release of Bloodborne (if it's well-received)? And what about in the summer when Tearaway is released? Not to mention all other games coming this year, like Rime and the Tomorrow Children.
As it is, both systems have only a few exclusives that are worth playing, and Uncharted 4 being delayed a few months doesn't really mean much in the scheme of things. If that one particular game was going to be the reason you buy a PS4, then it'll just be offset apparently by a short period of time.
Also, it's not a matter of not 'trying hard' for the studios. Do you think that if ND tried harder, then their game would be released sooner? Come on, now.
Also Uncharted 3 happened when they last tried to force something out in 2 years.
I'm fairly certain that Sony are deeply concerned about your delaying your purchase of a single system while they continue to sell 1mn+ units per month WW.
Deeply concerned.
And it was fantastic.
I thought it sucked. Came out with broken controls, horrible multiplayer, and zero NG+ extras.
you talkin bout mp or campaign?UC3 had its problem, but was still good.
This one is gonna be fantastic I think. That PSX demo and Edge article told me they are on the right track and should take all the time they need to fully realize their vision.
