Got mine today.

The packaging and overall presentation is really nice.

The game itself is okay. It's nothing really new but it at least feels like a SFC era game and not some aesthetically unpleasing homebrew garbage that most games that are developed for older hardware end up being.

The lack of music tracks is doing my head in though.



More people have old SNES hardware than old Neo Geo hardware = more sales I am guessing.

Small cart sizes and lower screen resolution. GBA is way more powerful than a Neo Geo.

Yeah, it really is quite amazing that we had a handheld that was more powerful than the Neo Geo. The GBA really deserves more credit when it comes to raw power. The DS also looks amazing thanks to the extra power and the bigger carts. The DS was finally able to deliver handheld Neo Geo.

The game itself is kind of bad but Wurzel is genuinely fun to play. Like a mix between MvC2 Wolverine and Blanka. Review is almost finished!

Thanks for the review BNGames! I was thinking about buying this but then I realized I don't even have a SNES or Retron. Too bad about the story though.
