Voting in the Florida panhandle still closes an hour after the rest of the state, correct?

Yeah. The most bizarre thing was that I was watching the Stewart/Colbert special when it happened.

For me, Jon Stewart and Stephen Colbert were the news anchors who broke the news of Obama's victory.

Four years later, I still can't believe that...

You too? Damn, that's how I found out, it took me completely off guard.

If Obama loses the popular vote, I can't wait for conservatives to label him as illegitimate because "TEH PPL HAVE SPOKEN". It'll be cognitive dissonance at its absolute worst, and I'll savor every ounce of it.

Haha, I purposely went to Foxnews to watch them say it. It was delicious.

When the other side acts like it's no big deal, won't that be cognitive dissonance too?

Obama winning Michigan by enough to be able to call it at the close is big. Not unexpected, but big.

Also, Romney is almost out of his core states now. Very little left for him, but Obama still has a huge base coming in two hours.

First time following some of these elections as they happen. Seems like every single little step is taken very seriously indeed.

Hahahaa, that wall of red on CNN scared the shit out of my super Obama supporting friend. Then I had to remind him that those aren't states Obama even needs.
